My femgenficathon entry this year is giving me an existential crisis. While it's been open, I've said, outloud, "WHYYYY! Why am I here? I don't GET it! What does this even MEAN?! Why does this even matter?"

In other news, can I please get some X-Men: First Class fic recs? Erik/Charles, Alex Summers & Angel Salvatore as main characters for bonus.

I am not loving my femgenficathon entry this year. It's a Smallville, post-show fic about Tess Mercer. I should just finish it, send it to a beta (any takers?) & then let it stew for a week.

Maybe I'm too attached to D'Ancanto & Lion-Headed Goddess to think clearly. Or maybe the muses just need to be poked with a stick.

1) Azimuth: Here's the problem-- I've set up the boys' personalities so that Scott is pretty reactionary. 1) Last clinical shift finished as of 0700 this morning. Then I had to drive to school to prep for a presentation at noon (the presentation is at 1445, but the class starts at noon). So right now, I've been up for 17 hours & won't be able to sleep for another 7 hours at least. 'Sokay; I'll make it up by sleeping for 24 hours straight.
